The Morayfield State School is another heritage-listed state school situated in Morayfield Road. It was built by the famous architect Richard George Suter and constructed in 1873 by Robert Monteith. The building has been added to Queensland Heritage Register on 10 October 2014 due to its historical significance of being one of only two surviving examples from this period outside Brisbane’s metropolitan area.
